Kitchen finale

The kitchen is cooked and done! Well, at least with what needed to get done before we move in.

We decided to paint it with both paint colors that we are using throughout the house. They are in the same family, so they look very similar.

This picture makes it look a little more dramatic than it is in real life, but you can see the two walls are a different paint color.

The reason for doing this is that from one angle, the paint color helps set it apart from the living room. This photo is a little dark, but take my word for it:

But from the kitchen looking into the living room, it blends really well and looks more open:

This room was really time consuming and difficult to put together, but it will be an awesome place to cook and entertain. And look at the before - what a change!
